Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has partnered with the campus bookstore to offer a "You Win When the Panthers Win" promotion for the upcoming home basketball season. The larger the team's margin of victory, the larger the discount on merchandise.
This promotion is good for home games only so hold on to your ticket stubs! Attendees will receive at least 5% discount for any winning game on ONE Adelphi apparel item. The discount can increase to as much as 25% based on the amount of points the Panthers win by. The discount can not be combined with another sale or promotion and must be redeemed within two business days or before the next home game, whichever comes first.
"We are very excited to partner with the campus bookstore," said Assistant AD/Senior Woman Administrator Suzette McQueen. "They have always been great supporters of athletics and this is a fun way to really engage our fans."
Adelphi will open its home schedule on Tuesday, November 24, as they host the College of Saint Rose. The women will play first at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men at 7:30 p.m. All Panther Pride members are encouraged to wear their t-shirts to show their support.
"If they go to the game and show their support, then they should be able to get some Panther gear at a discounted price," said Barnes & Noble store manager Will Giler.
The Panthers first home game is Tuesday, November 24, as they host The College of Saint Rose beginning with the women and 5:30 p.m. and followed by the men at 7:30 p.m. Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend, the bookstore will honor tomorrow's win until December 1. So come out and support your Adelphi University Panthers!
